WHY DID YOU START SALTY VOLT?

I always wanted to work and spend time by the beach. So in March 2015, we booked some flights and arrived in Bali to launch Coupofy. My team is based in a cool co-working space called Salty Volt and we are right by the beach. This is a dream come true.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING WE SEE ONCE WE ARRIVE?

A beautiful open space with hanging lights and of course the surf rack.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO WORK AT?

I love sitting by the pool on the lounge chairs. What a great place to check your e-mail right?

WHAT IS THE ORIGINALITY?

It’s right by the beach and the surf vibe is solid. Also local artists host their exhibitions here and take care of the design and keeping the space fresh.

WHAT KIND OF EXTRA ACTIVITIES DO YOU DO THERE?

I started playing guitar while taking breaks. Not a bad switch given that I used to watch surf videos during breaks while working in London...



There are also fun things to do on the weekends. Such as swimming in the waterfalls.



Or simply take a walk in the rice fields.

WHY SHOULD WE COME?

If you want to be close to the beach and surf whenever you want- this is the place for you. The conditions are constantly epic and the town is amazing.This is really a dream come true and I hope many of you get to come and see this place. Looking forward to see you in Bali. Until next time!
